Step 9 - Using Tip line
iOS iDeposit.net App (3.0.7 or higher)
This tutorial will show you where to turn on and use tip line on per-authorize sells screen
Use the following steps to access the Tip line in Apple iDeposit.net App.
- From the Home screen
- Tap Application Settings (Cog icon)
- In Application Settings toggle Tip line to ON
- Go back to the Home Screen
- Then tap Credit Cards
- Then tap Process - Pre-Auth
- Manually type in the required information or if you have a card reader swipe the card.
- Type in the Amount and then tap Process
- If the information was entered correctly you will get a confirmation. Tap Yes to Confirm
- Approved
- Select Get Signature in the bottom left corner
- Now you have the option to get a signature and request for a tip.
- The tip amount is already per-calculated for the you, the customer has the option of 10, 15, 20 percent and/or the can manually type in there own amount.
- Have them sign and select a tip and tap Accept
- If the information was entered correctly you will get a confirmation. Tap Yes to Confirm
